The 2nd Global Conference of the One Planet Sustainable Food Systems Programme “Good Food for People and the Planet: Working together towards 2030” is looking forward to achieve the Bandera Azul Ecológica Award, Special Events Category. The award was created in Costa Rica to promote responsible activities towards natural resources, climate change, food waste, public health and sanitary conditions. It evaluates the following areas:
- Access to clean water
- Waste and waste water management
- Food Waste reduction and prevention
- Order, cleanliness, hygiene and sanitary conditions to avoid spread of diseases-
- Food safety
- Security and Emergencies management

La 2da Conferencia Global de One Planet Programa de Sistemas Alimentarios sostenibles “Good Food for People and the Planet: Working together towards 2030” “está concursando por el galardón Bandera Azul Ecológica-categoría de Eventos Especiales. El mismo se creó en Costa Rica para promover actividades responsables hacia los recursos naturales, el cambio climático, el desperdicio de alimentos, las higiénico sanitarias y la salud pública. El mismo estará evaluando las siguientes áreas.

- Medición y mitigación de emisiones
- Reducción y prevención de desperdicio de alimentos
- Inocuidad de alimentos
- Gestión de la seguridad y ante emergencias
